Welcome to TJ Flutes, an English flute brand with its HQ nestled in the picturesque village of Lenham, located just 30 miles outside of London.

Since our establishment in 1982, TJ Flutes has been renowned worldwide for our commitment to crafting exceptional flutes and approaching our craft with a distinctiveness that sets us apart from other flute companies.

During the National Flute Association Conventions in 2017 and 2018, we had the opportunity to connect with numerous flute players who shared a common experience: feeling depleted at various points throughout their busy weeks. Engaging with the vibrant flute community on social media further reinforced this shared sentiment.

We understand that when you're tired and feeling low, it can be challenging to see the brighter side of things. While well-intentioned individuals may advise you to "stay positive," we recognize that such advice may not resonate when you're experiencing frustration, anxiety, or the overwhelming desire to scream, shout, cry, or simply find solace in sleep.

Within our company, we have members who practice yoga, engage in regular meditation and retreats, and even a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist who is also a flute player. With the abundance of meditation and mindfulness resources available in the form of books, courses, videos, audio, and websites, we set out to create something simple yet relevant. Our aim was to provide musicians with an easily accessible tool that empowers them to dedicate a few minutes each day to recharging their batteries. Thus, the 'Happy Flutist' website was born.

Our intention is for the website to continue growing, offering more audio tracks, guided visualizations, and videos, all while remaining completely free. However, it is essential to emphasize that if you're truly struggling and not feeling great, seeking professional help is crucial.

We want to remind you that it's a sign of strength to ask for help.

The Happy Flutist website doesn't claim to fix anything; instead, it aims to offer you a small slice of time to recognize your uniqueness and reaffirm your ability to overcome challenges. As a Happy Flutist, you have the keys to unlock your own creativity and well-being, ultimately bringing joy not only to your audience but, more importantly, to yourself.
